Simple Does It

Hello! I did not mean to ignore this blog for so long. Paul and I were

moving out of the summer house we were renting and into a our

permanent (or semi-permanent) home. Moving is such a hassle and I

forget that every time we do it. I'm loving our new place though and

am excited to make it our own.  I just want to get all settled in order

for me to enjoy my favourite time of year! These pictures are from

about a week ago, a time when the weather was a bit warmer. Early

autumn is the best, it's still cool enough to layer but warm enough

that you don't need all the extras. Thanks to Marlen from Messages

on a Napkin, who I dub the Queen of Layering, I've been trying to

layer more creatively. To add extra warmth over this simple white

dress I left my button-up dress open like a vest. All right, off I go to

finish making myself a nest - see you soon and enjoy the weekend!
