Twinkle, Twinkle

DISCLAIMER: I live in a tiny downtown apartment. Yes, it's a great location,
but man, oh, man does it ever lack in space! My closets are jammed packed
and while retrieving the Christmas decorations my iron fell from the top shelf to
the floor. So for now, I'm going for that whole wrinkle look.
Happy New Year's! Please ignore the lateness of this salutation. I hope you had a
wonderful night, whether it was spent decked out in jewels and a fancy dress, with a
glass of that giggle water in hand surrounded by plenty of people, or if you had a date
with the couch and pajamas were the dress code. New Year's can be plenty overrated.
As long as you're happy with what you're doing! Paul and I had more of a low-key
night hanging out with just  few close friends.  Despite the casualness of the night I still
had to rock some sort of sparkle, so bring on the sequin skirt! I'm not one for sparkle
or glitter (or even diamonds), but something about this skirt just caught my eye - and
I guess I mean that literally not just figuratively, hah. This thing shines like a star in
the sky every time I move - how fun is that?!

  1. Great skirt for new years! I'm not into sparkly stuff either except for on new year's eve. And I totally know what it's like to live in a small space as my old apartment was like that. So frustrating haha.

  2. Haha, you know I love the sparkles! ;) I love the blue shimmery skirt you rocked with your classy button down. So pretty and perfectly put together!
And agreed, the hype for New Year's is crazy, but as long as you're having fun, that's all that matters.

  8. Such a gorgeous skirt! I love that you paired it with a simple white top. You look beautiful! As for ironing, pfffttttt. The most I'll do is use some wrinkle spray stuff. It works pretty well for minimal effort! Heheh Happy new year, dear! <3

  10. Awww, but tiny apartments are kinda cozy, no? :D Bhahaha! I wouldn't have noticed the wrinkles if ya hadn't pointed 'em out, though. It's all good. I think half of my clothes at college are wrinkly for the same space reason. I have a closet but half the time I just shove them in a drawer... :D oopsies.

Ah my goodness, how cute is that skirt?! it really is super sparkly. Shine bright like the star you aaare!

Also you are too sweet for saying that--"renaissance woman." My goodness gracious, that comment made my morning! > 3<

  11. I love this skirt and the blouse together. Your hair is looking insanely perfect and I am in love with your couch! There's nothin' wrong with a small apartment. In fact, it's kind of nice in the sense that you can't be a pack rat. Plus you have the rest of your life to live in bigger places!
