Backyard Shenanigans

Ladies, meet my backyard!'s not actually my backyard, but it's
my playground. Oh, how nice it is to look out at the ocean and smell the
fresh, clean air. Paul and I have been extremely busy unpacking and getting
our lives back on track that we haven't really been out exploring. There's so
much to see and do here, but a trip to the lighthouse was a necessary first!
Kobe had his very first swim in the ocean and it was adorably funny to see
him jump back in fright from the big waves. And since I now live by the
ocean and a lighthouse I'm definitely going to be rocking the nautical look.
Over and over again.  It'll be a great marker of my creative ability - for
I'm going to have to bring something new to the table each time. All righty,
off I go.  So much to do, so little time. Until we meet again!

  1. Wow, so cool that you live near a lighthouse. The ocean looks really neat too - so different than the SoCal beaches. Glad to hear you are enjoying life in your new town.

  2. Wow! Everything about your new home is so picturesque! The house and "backyard" are so beautiful! You lucky girl! So many great spots for taking outfit pictures too!
And Kobe has enough space to run aorund and even take swim if he likes, that's so awesome! :)
Love your sunny yellow slippers by the way!

  3. Good Lord, how is that a backyard??
That's a freaking lighthouse! You have a lighthouse in your backyard!?!?
    *dies of jealousy*
Lol that is so awesome how beautiful your new place is Samantha! :D
