Countrified

This is my first autumn living in the country.  I went from city to town
to rural. There are so many differences, most of which I welcome.
In my old city, autumn passed by too quickly, gone before it could be
cherished. I do not have that problem where I live now. Mid-October
and half the trees are still their summer green and have yet to change.
Not to mention the fact that there are so many trees, they go on endlessly
for miles! Although a park pathway littered with fallen leaves is a
beautiful sight, the country offers so many delights for the eye during
autumn. I've traded a bustling  metropolis for an animal kingdom and
have made friends with a fox. My life now includes bales of hay as
festive decoration and I have bought my first rake for the leaves that
are abundant in my yard. Best of all, there are no neighbours to witness
me jumping like a child into the giant pile of leaves!

  1. Omgosh what beautiful leaves! Down south we rarely get such pretty views. I love your dress and that hat is basically autumn-perfect.

  2. Samantha! Oh my word, when did you create this blog? I hadn't seen updates in ages and all along you've been carrying on with a new blog haha. Anyway, glad to have found it!
Autumn looks absolutely beautiful where you are <3
And friends with a fox?? I'm so jealous! Lol my dream pet is a fennec fox, though a red fox is lovely too.
