Life's a Beach

I apologize for the picture heaviness of this post, but I couldn't help myself,
everything was just so breathtakingly beautiful! These pictures are actually
from several days ago, but alas, this seaside village is keeping me much busier
than the city ever has. This beach will be much frequented by Paul, Kobe, and
I this summer - that's for sure.  The gate allowing people to go doesn't open
for at least a few more weeks, so we had to go by bike this time. It was a long
ride, about an hour or so, but so worth it. And we had the entire place to our-
selves - imagine that! It's incredibly humbling to listen to the waves and look out at
that gigantic body of water. It definitely puts you in your place in the world. You
can't help but feel small and somewhat insignificant standing next to the ocean.

  1. Pffft, picture-heavy?! Hardly. ;) I really love seeing all the pictures of the places people find--this looks like a stunning place to visit. I especially love that shot of the bridge and the last one with the parallel rocks. How neat that they formed like that! And the fact that you had it to yourself is even better. Well worth the ride indeed. :D

And to think you still looked that cute after biking so far. ;)

  3. Oh my word, I'm all the more jealous of where you live now! Haha, I've long since decided that I eventually need to live near the coast, and seeing these photos just re-confirmed it ;)
I love the photos, no need to apologize for being picture heavy!
You're so adorable (of course), and you got bicycle photos :D I've always wanted to do that for my blog. Now to find a cute bike...lol

  4. Samantha! These pictures are just too cute :) Those first two look like scenes from a movie. I wish the beaches out here looked like this one.

  5. Don't apologize for the photos, they are beautiful! It must be divine to live so close to the sea with the beach literally at your doorstep! Love the cute shoes and necklace and the simple beachy breezy dress! :)

  6. What a beautiful experience. The photos are very lovely. Especially the last one with all the pretty stones. We don't have beaches like that over here. I'd love to visit one like that one day.
